voteVote signs at Brunet-Garcia
The picture above is the front window of the office at Brunet-García on Hendricks. The window at the Brunet-García Multicultural Advertising & PR agency at 1510 Hendricks Avenue reminds everyone who sees it to exercise their right to vote. The window signs feature a graphic of Barack Obama in blue on the left and John McCain in red on the right. Agency owner Jorge Brunet-García started a tradition of posting signs in the window at the agency's previous location, just a couple of blocks north on Hendricks. Sometimes the signs offer a greeting like "Feliz Navidad," make a joke such as "Are You Ready For Some Fútbol?' (posted during the 2005 Super Bowl, held in Jacksonville) or acknowledge a significant event. Prior to the Vote signs, the window art paid tribute to Hispanic Heritage Month.
