New Sewing Group is on the move!

We welcome members of all skill levels and from many different walks of life.
This is a group for beginner seamstress and sewing enthusiasts striving to make a make better looking garments. We will be learning new skills, networking with others who share your love of home sewing with others who share your interest. We will discuss basic constructions, design, pattern drafting of any kind, fitting techniques, techniques, embellishments, learning your style, craft items, quilting and anything that will improve our skills. Some members use pattern-drafting software, some do hand drafting patterns, and many use commercial patterns. Since everyone has varying degrees of skill, you are bound to get an answer that works for you. We are all willing to step up and help a new comer learn the ropes or build up the ones we have. This group was built to bring Jacksonville Florida Sewers together one member at a time to have fun, encourage one another and grow. Let’s make a different! Though many areas will be discuss but sewing clothing constructions will always be the main topic. We are here to encourage/promote sewing and lift up beginners as well as ourselves. All members have something to share. Everyone one got a talent.
